CALL
FOR PAPERS
1. Authors who wish to present
a paper for publication must request to do so exclusively
by means of the online form, labeled APPLICATION FORM, found
in the left hand menu of the electronic Journal (www.investigacion-psicopedagogica.org/revista/english).
2.
The Journal administrator will forward the author a preformatted
file with which to present his or her article. Once the
complete, formatted article is returned to the administrator,
it will be listed in the website under STATUS OF UPCOMING
ARTICLES. This listing serves as the author's proof of receipt
and as a means to stay informed of the article's status
through the review and publication process.
3.
Since both the electronic and printed versions of the Journal
will publish 3 issues annually, and at least one of these
is to be a MONOGRAPH, the Editors and the Coordinator of
a specific issue reserve the right to match publication
of papers with the nature of each Journal issue, be it general
or monographic.
INSTRUCTIONS
TO AUTHORS
1. The general guidelines
used by the Editorial Board, Advisory Board and Peer Reviewers
are those typical of any scientific publication, and are
capsulized in the APA style guide (http://www.apastyle.org/previoustips.html).
To acquire a copy of the APA publication manual, see www.apa.org/books/4200061.html.
For details specific to our publication, we suggest you
consult articles previously published, adjusting the format
of your abstract and the structure of your paper to characteristics
observed for your article type (research, review, reflection,
evaluation of material, research proposal, etc.)
2.
Generally speaking, the most highly valued overall qualities
are coherence and the contribution's relevance for advancing
academic and/or professional knowledge in Educational and
School Psychology. One must keep in mind that each type
of paper has its own textual and conceptual structure, as
a function of its type of contribution and its possible
readership. This fact should not exclude the need for all
papers, in whatever modality, to show a minimum of rigor
and systematization in order to be presented to the scientific
and professional community.

INSTRUCTIONS
TO PEER REVIEWERS
1. Articles will be sent
to reviewers exclusively by e-mail, in MS Word format. The
files are identified by a number, guaranteeing anonymity,
confidentiality and equal competitive conditions for all
articles.
2.
Reviewers' reports will be transmitted exclusively by means
of the reviewer's online utility located in the electronic
version of the Journal, regardless of whether the article
will be published in the printed or online editions of the
Journal. Reviewers must answer specific questions shown
there, as well as provide opinions and general suggestions
that should be sent to the author. In this section one can
mention general aspects regarding content and form as well
as acceptance, need for revision, or rejection.
3.
In addition, for the sake of timeliness and efficiency in
improving a given article, whatever specific errors, modifications
and suggestions which the reviewer wishes to make should
be marked directly in the text of the article, in red, so
that the Publisher may forward these to the author. Thus
the author will have an exact representation of what changes
are proposed, regardless of whether he or she accepts these
changes. Reviewers must return the reviewed article directly
to the Journal Administrator, by e-mail, within a period
of one month. This method is to ensure that reviewers make
concrete suggestions and requirements, in addition to the
general considerations, also valid, which were to be submitted
via the Journal's online utility.
4.
In acknowledgment of this task, the names of participating
reviewers will be listed in the last issue of the Journal
for each year (both printed and electronic versions). Articles
will each be reviewed by two or three reviewers, who may
come from the academic or practitioners' arena or from both.
A listing of reviewers is published in both printed and
electronic versions of the Journal under the heading Advisory
Board. The Editor.
